ROBERT SIMMONS, Certified Marriage Mediator & Relationship Coach
Robert’s career began with 24 years of service in the United States Marine Corps where he held many leadership roles, including Substance Abuse Counseling Officer.
After retiring from the military, Robert brought his leadership skills to the corporate world, including roles at Bell Helicopter, Textron, and Baylor Scott & White. In 2019, he founded Centered Business Solutions to teach healthcare professionals how to drive organizational change.
With extensive experience as a certified executive coach, leadership trainer, and life coach, Robert has helped individuals, couples, and families improve their lives.
LAURI SIMMONS, Certified Marriage Mediator & Relationship Coach
Lauri is a certified coach with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). She's spent the last decade helping women through life's most challenging seasons, including raising children and menopausal transitions.
With expertise spanning a wide range of issues, including navigating misunderstandings, rebuilding trust after infidelity, and helping couples reignite excitement and intimacy in their partnership, Lauri helps couples reduce tension and improve harmony in their relationships.
Lauri's empathetic approach creates a safe and supportive environment that allows couples to open up, address underlying issues, and work towards constructive solutions.
Married for 36 years, Robert and Lauri come from a place of personal experience. Centered Life Solutions (formerly Leading Life Coaching, founded in 2010), was birthed from a season of challenges within their own relationship.
With their marriage upon the brink of destruction, they heeded wise counsel and began looking inward to find resolve in their marriage. As they learned more about themselves, they both felt the calling to help others save their relationships.
Over the last decade, Robert and Lauri have helped couples restore their relationship and see improvements in other family dynamics, including challenges with parenting, dating, premarital concerns, and living in a family with ADHD.
And even though they were helping couples in their marriages, Robert and Lauri saw a deeper need. Many couples they encountered had given up hope in saving their marriage—to the point of not seeing coaching or counseling as a solution.
This is when Robert and Lauri discovered Marriage Mediation. After researching mediation and its life-changing transformation, Robert and Lauri knew this was the tool they needed to help save marriages. They became Certified Marriage Mediators through the XO Marriage Institute.
